These cookies have become my new breakfast at work, however I did modify the recipe a little. I use one package any flavor weight control oatmeal and mix it with a half a smashed banana and just enough water to mix it. I don't add the baking powder. YUMMY, I eat them at my desk!!!! But I know that they are good for me as there is no flour or added sugar in them!!!
Desserts: AMAZING OATMEAL COOKIES - Thank you Sue, Staff Site!
4 oatmeal cookies for 2 POINTS & Core1 container WW Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal OR Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal1/2 tsp. of baking powder (optional)Gradually stir in about 1/4 to 1/3 cup water, until it is the consistency of oatmeal cookie dough.Split the mixture into 4Drop on a baking sheet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray Bake at 350 F until firm, about 15 minutes Add the 1/2 tsp. of baking powder if you wish because, having no flour, this is a very dense and moist cookie, and I do think it lightened it up a bit. What I like best about this is if you need to have breakfast on the go, it's a hand-held oatmeal breakfast.

SNOW= NO GYM
Ha ha I got you, I actually planned on Wednesday night that I was going to take Thursday off from the gym!!! I have went 5 days in a row and am using today as a break day. This is how the day went. I got up at 6:05 and new that I would not make it downstairs to the bathroom so I went upstairs, I turned the light on!!! OOPS. When I went to go downstairs to shower I did not turn the lights on, I almost fell down the steps and almost took the bookshelf with me!!! Great start to the day!!! I get to work and realize I am not working with my regular partners, I got the NEWBIES!! Great!! Then I decide I should sign up for overtime, first I get an hour, then 8 hours, which I traded for 2 hours and at 5:00 they tried to hit me with 8 again. I would have stayed but it was in a crappy place. Off to brave the 5 minute drive home. Lucky for me there wasn't a car parked in front of me so I could just drive out of my parking spot if I would have had to back out I would have gotten stuck, the snow was up to my TRUNK!! They plowed some of the lot and left a ridge behind my car plus it continued to snow and was blowing in that direction!!! Great!! I got home and I had told Pat I would shovel, that was my workout for the night. I did about a fourth of the driveway and said "forget this"!!! That is what I pay an extra 105.00 a month for association fees for!! I told Pat what I did and he said he would do the rest when he got home, by that time there is going to be way more, so "good luck with that" My hope for tomorrow is to hit Body Pump again and do the kickboxing class. I am 99% sure that if I don't get called into work at 3am that I will be staying past 3 tomorrow, so not sure if my plans will pan out. Hope so!!! Now if I could only get my eating under control I would be in good shape!!!!
Wednesday workout!
I actually made it to the gym as planned, I ran for 30 minutes 2.75 miles then went to the Body Pump class!! I swear those weights get heavier and heavier. After you go a few times isn't it suppose to get easier????? My arms were sore after the class, but that must be a good thing!!
I DVR'd The Biggest Loser so I could watch it when I got home, it really is amazing that I went to the gym knowing it was going to be on!! Why did they not kick Ron off? I wish I could lose 10lbs in a week!!!!

Chicken Pot Pie
Main Dish: WW CHICKEN POT PIE - Thanks Sandra S!
5 Points, 6 servingsYou can make a chicken pot pie or substitute 1 lb beef (browned) & beef broth instead of chickenbutter flavored cooking spray1 tsp butter2 cups chopped onions - nuke 4 min.2 cups sliced mushrooms (2-3 cans drained) nuke 2 min.1/4 tsp paprika1/4 tsp crushed thyme1/4 tsp black pepper1/2 tsp salt (or more)2 cups frozen vegetables - your choice1 cup chicken broth3 cups cooked, diced chicken breasts (season w/Johnny's seasoning salt)1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch1/2 cup fat-free evaporated milk - divided (Sandra freezes the rest in a covered container)4-6 rolls reduced-fat crescent roll dough, UNROLLEDPreheat oven to 375. Spray large shallow baking dish w/cooking spray. Coat large pan with cooking spray. Melt butter over medium heat. Add onions, mushrooms - cook until tender. Add spices, frozen vegetables, broth, chicken. Cover. Bring to low boil. Cook 15 min. (veg are tender). In small container, mix cornstarch & 1/4 C evap. milk. Add to chicken mixture & stir constantly, about 2 minutes. Mixture starts to thicken. Add 1/4 more cup of evaporated milk. Stir & cook another 2-3 min. Pour into greased baking dish. Unroll dough & layer over top to form crust. Leave holes for steam. Bake until rolls are golden brown, about 12-15 minutes. Cut into 6 pieces & serve.
P.S 4-6 Rolls of crescent roll dough does not mean 4-6 cans, it means 4-6 pieces. I did buy 4 cans but only used one, then when I told Pat," I don't know why you would need 4-6 cans for this", he laughed and explained it to me!!! I may never become Martha Stewart at this rate!!

Tuesday workout
I was at the gym by 9:15 today, crazy, I don't usually get up that early when I am off. I was suppose to have an easy workout doing the New Leaf training, heart beat from 139-154, however I started out good but then lately when I raise the incline on the treadmill it kills my legs and knees so it is easier for me to run at a slower pace than walk at slow pace with a high incline. So I ran at a 5.0 with an incline of .50 for 35 MINUTES STRAIGHT, other than jumping off twice to readjust my heart rate monitor. ( I just really wanted all the people working out to get a free show of fat, don't worry no one died) I did not intend to do this but I had to get my heart rate up so I started running and it got to where it needed to be, but then it kept increasing and I kept running. I haven't ran that long without stopping in months. It felt really good. I finished 45 minutes and 3.50 miles, so it was a good workout!! My hope for tomorrow is to do my New Leaf training and go to the Body Pump class. This will all depend on what time I get off work. We just hired a bunch of new part-time people who have finished their training and are ready to work the floor so the overtime is drying up a little. Don't worry when summer hits I will get all the overtime I want or don't want. These people are all talk about getting as many hours as they can but when summer hits, they change their minds and realize being outside on a 80 degree day is much better than being at work with a bunch of idiots!!! (No, I am not talking about myself when I say idiots either) I know that is what you were thinking.
Monday Workout!!
I had planned to do my New Leaf training then hit the Body Pump class, however I just went to the Body Pump class at 6:40. I am fine with just doing that, I think my brain is starting to realize that I don't need to do "all or nothing" every time I go to the gym. The other part of this is that the scale just isn't moving, I am "maintaining my weight" so what is the point? I would love for it to move down but I am to the point where I still want to lose but I am sick of trying so dang hard!!! The chicken pot pie was great, I will post the recipe.

Sunday workout!
I went to the gym with Pat this morning, thinking I am not going to do my new leaf interval training today because I am Lazy and don't feel like it and I am super sore from Body Pump yesterday. Well I did it and it felt great!!!! I can hardly move right now because I am SUPER SUPER SORE, but I guess that is the trade off for doing the workout!!! I am making a WW chicken pot pie for supper, so I will let you know how that turns and and if it tastes good. It was really easy so I will keep my fingers crossed!!!

Saturday workout
I did get up and go to the Body Pump class today, it was a little hard as I haven't been to one in about 2 weeks I think. I got some weight lifting gloves for Valentine's day so I actually remembered to take them with and try them. They worked really well, for some reason the bars hurt my hands. I have worked with my trainer in the past and when she wanted me to do lat pull downs, I thought my hands were going to fall off. My plan was to elliptical for 35 minutes before the class but I didn't make it there in time, so I only got in 10 minutes, .67 miles. I will try harder tomorrow, I am counting today as my easy day with the new leaf training, even though I didn't do hardly any of it. To bad I am getting really sick of it. I have 8 more times until I am done with it!!! I am still going to re-test, not because I want another plan, but because I want to see how far I have come since the beginning. There better be some sort of results there!!! I went tanning after I was done today. That used to be my little reward before, if I worked out I got to tan, basically take a nap for 20 minutes because I was to cheap to upgrade to the better beds. That is no longer a reward or motivator for me. Not sure why because I always say "my fat looks better tan". The other thing that used to motivate me was smell, if I had lotion on that smelled like coconut tanning lotion or something like that it motivated me. I think it was the feeling that I was in the sun when really I wasn't I love that smell. Maybe I need to buy a bottle of Hawaiian Tropics tanning lotion and start wearing it!!! Would people think I was weird? Better to smell like that then sweat!!!!
We went to a movie tonight and out to eat at Culver's, so anything I worked off is right back on the hips!!! I am human!

Big plans with no action, one word, it didn't happen. I am lazy and have nothing else to say for myself!!!

Thursday
This has been a "dumpy week" I have no desire to go to the gym tonight, so I am making an executive decision and I am not going!
Here is how I feel right now, 1) Guilty, for not going to the gym tonight as there is really no reason not to go.
2) Mad ,because when I do go and work my butt off, nothing happens
3) Frustrated, because nothing happens
4) Lazy, because I know I should go, why would I go? I've already missed 2 days
in a row, what is one more?
I just wish I could make something happen but I just don't know how to do that, well I do know where I could start, shut my mouth and stop eating everything within my reach, maybe I will try that- tomorrow!!! Good Grief, I need to be sent to a deserted island to make this happen.

Wednesday workout.
All my plans were shot!! I was the lowest in seniority at work today, or as I like to call it "pond scum", so at 1:30 my lieutenant says, "your low today, the next LT might keep you for an hour or run short", Ok 2:50 call the afternoon LT, "Am I getting an hour or not", "Yes, go to dorm 200 at 3:00". GREAT, 2:55 LT calls me "um if I have to keep you for 8 hours can you find someone to come in for you if you don't want to stay, I'm in a bind", WHAT THE HELL, you just said and hour!!!!! "Fine, but I am not staying in dorm 200 all night", Lt, "oh I will hook you up with something good" "GREAT" So I stayed at work until 8pm. My friend Nikki was working and says "you can stay until 11pm suck it up" "how about you be quiet or I will kick your ass" I should have listened to her and stayed, but I didn't. When she found out I was leaving at 8, she says "oh now you can still get to the gym" " No Nikki, I am going home and I might just have a beer". I should have listened to her. I came home and had some left over cheese bread, 2 beers and some peanut butter toast!! I do not know what my deal was but that combination is crazy. Not to mention a stupid decision. I have no self control!!! Where do you buy that at? I don't even need a clearance sale, I will pay full price!!!!

Tuesday- where were you?
Where was I? I was at work until 4pm, at one point it was suppose to be 5pm, dodged that bullet I guess. Since I thought I was working until 5, I e-mailed Pat and told him when he picked up Sydney he should stop and get Little Ceasers Pizza. I know I am lazy and didn't' plan for anything or honestly I don't really have anything to make. ( I told you, those chicken strips and corn dogs are staying in the freezer) I am sure having Pat stop and get pizza is a much much better idea. NOT!! Grocery store is on the to-do list for Friday, my day off. I can't wait!! I hate going to the grocery store!!
I struggle with Tuesday's for some reason. I have to watch the Biggest Loser, I can't record it and watch it later so that I can get to the gym, that would make way to much sense. I always think what if I don't get to watch it the same night and I go to work and someone tells me who went home, devastation would set in. So you guessed it, I did not go to the gym tonight. The sad thing about it is that I would have had an easy New Leaf workout tonight. I will save it for tomorrow, my plan is to go the gym , do my New Leaf workout, then hit the Body Pump class. This is all going to happen in my world if I don't have to stay longer than 5:00 at work. Just and FYI, it is snowing here now, so tomorrow if we have a ton of snow, there will be no gym, we all know how I feel about snow!!

Monday workout
Monday was a LONG day!! I went to work at 3am and worked until 3pm. I came home and watched Young and the Restless. I knew if I didn't get up off the couch and get to the gym I would never make it to the Mary Kay "pedicure/feet" night at 6:30. So off to the gym I went. I did my New Leaf training, it was-you guessed it another interval one. I did the 35 minutes I was suppose to then continued on the elliptical, all together 50 minutes. Pat met me at the gym and was biking when I finished so I jumped on the bike next to him. I did 13 minutes. I wanted to kick out 3 miles but I got a HUGE charlie horse in my right leg. I was about ready to cry. I jumped off the bike really fast because I could feel the muscle literally starting to twist into a knot. When that happens I FREAK out, it is not a pretty site. I was almost done anyway. All together I logged 5.74 miles on the elliptical and 2.64 on the bike.
Off to Mary Kay to give my feet a much needed "spa treatment" I think they are still thanking me.
Home, then off to bed at 10:20. please check the alarm so that it is set for 6:05, I am not getting up at 2:05!

Sunday workout
Sunday was very laid back, I did not want to go to the gym. Pat and I went and just walked the track. We did one mile and called it a good day. I did walk to the end of the block that morning to get the Sunday paper, to my disappointment there were no COUPONS in it!!!! The fresh air felt good, if it wouldn't have been so windy maybe I would have walked a few more blocks. Lazy
The Olive Garden for Valentine's day was GREAT, it was an hour to and hour and 45 minute wait to get in. Good thing we got chairs at the bar almost right away. 4 beers and the Tour of Italy is not on any diet plan I know of, but it sure tasted good. Little secret, that new chicken soup they advertise is DISGUSTING!!!

Weight Watchers Potatoe Soup-Yummy!!
I made this potato soup and I LOVE it, the recipe comes from SkinnyWeek.com website, Sheryl you can thank your friend when you see her, it looks like she has some good recipes on the site!!, It was a link from her site to another one where I found the Olive Garden menu, and it's calorie counts. Lucky me!!
Soups: POTATO SOUP (Pts recalculated) - Thanks Cheri, Staff Site!
Makes about 12 servings - 1 cup = 1 Point (Calculated on RecipeBuilder, e-tools) (12 Points in the whole recipe)1 bag Ore Ida O'brien Hashbrowns (16 oz) (5.5 Pts)4 cans fat-free Chicken broth (2 Pts)1 package McCormick Country gravy mix* (5 Pts)Spray pan with fat-free spray. Saute potatoes 10 minutes, stirring gently. Add broth and bring to a boil. Prepare gravy mix according to package directions. Add to potatoes and broth. Simmer 20-30 minutes. *If you just add the gravy mix along with the broth eliminating the 2 cups of water the soup will be thicker and spicy.

Saturday Afternoon workout
Today I slept in, well I got up then went back to bed!! Still not feeling the best. It sucks. I tried to decide if I should go to the gym or take the day off. I had to go, here is the reason, we are going to the Olive Garden for Valentine's Day!! I happened to see the calorie count of their menu and might I add the three things I usually choose from are all over 1000 calories each, not to mention bread sticks and beer!!! Oh My GOODNESS!! I usually share with Sydney but she will not be there, and I don't have much will power to put the fork down and not eat everything on the plate, when it comes to pasta!! I did my New Leaf training which was an interval one today. Ick! I did the 35 minutes of that then stayed on the treadmill. All together I did 60 minutes which was almost 5 miles (4.67) and 770 calories. Not bad. My goal was to get to 1000 calories since that is what the meal will be tonight but I didn't make it. My foot still hurts and was starting to bother me so I quit. I guess that means I need to work super hard tomorrow!!! I will also mention that I am sore from Body Pump yesterday, I wish I could go consistently, so that wouldn't happen. I will have to try harder at getting there consistently.

Friday Body Pump
I went to Body Pump this morning, still not feeling the best. I made it through the class but I almost puked 3 times. It was so HOT in there!! I used light weights as I have not been there in 2 weeks, everything I lifted felt like a TON of bricks. I really wanted to go to the kickboxing class tonight since I have only gotten to go once, but I just don't think I can do it. I just don't have any energy!! I don't feel so achy and cold anymore so I am going to chalk it up to still needing a little rest. Who knows but it is pissing me off. Not to mention my stupid foot hurts. This time it is like I am stepping on glass every time my heel touches down, that's that bottom, then the top feels like it has a cramp in it that won't go away. I am frustrated!!! I only put 2 miles on the shoes today ellipticalling before Body Pump!

Thursday was hard!!!!
I did not workout yesterday, I hardly moved off the couch, today I still don't feel the best but I made myself go to the gym when I got up. If I would have waited until the afternoon I wouldn't have went. I know this. I did my New Leaf training which was just on even heartbeat today 154-170 so not suppose to be hard, however when you don't feel that well it is VERY HARD!! I thought I was never going to get done. I did get 4 miles out of it to log for my "shoe miles" and almost 600 calories so in that respect it was a good workout. I guess. I did 2 leg machines, and one ab one. Only one set then I said "good-bye" Hoping for a better workout tomorrow!!!

Tuesday- Feeling icky!
I went to the gym Monday and it was rainy and windy out, icky enough to give you that "chilled to the bone " feeling. Therefore I was freezing the whole night after I got home. Then Tuesday when I woke up for work, I felt crappy but knew I had to go in because I had a mandatory meeting at 3:00. If it weren't for that meeting I would have called in sick or went in then went home sick. I got home about 4:30 and was FREEZING. I showered, ate some chicken and potatoes, Pat cooked, it's the rule if you have the day off you have to cook the meal. Helped with dishes and didn't move off the couch the rest of the night. I hope to venture out to the gym today at some point even if it is only for a walk around the track, still not feeling the best.

Monday Guilt
So since I didn't work out all weekend, I knew I had to go today!! I was suppose to have an easy New leaf workout, heart rate at one level 139-154 for 35 minutes. Did that!! The guilt from not going over the weekend set in so I did another 30 minutes on the elliptical and went HARD!! All in all I did 65 minutes and 6.05 miles. I am going to try and track the miles on my new shoes as of now I have 10 miles!!! Maybe I can mile this pair out faster! Mile- ling out for me is between 400-600 miles. Let's see what I can do the rest of the week.
"Laughing is good exercise, it's like jogging on the inside"

Weekend workout!!
There wasn't any!! Friday I had really good intentions, I was ready to go to body pump and kickboxing, Gym bag in hand, when I decided that we needed to get other things done, such as grocery shop and eat!! Saturday I was going to work until 4pm, then hit happy hour with my girls from work, my friend Amy took a 30 foot fall while painting her house last Aug and it was her first day back to work. Well I missed happy hour because I worked until 6:45. So I did save some calories there. I would have tried the gym, but it closes at 7. Then came Sunday, I went to work at 3am and worked until 3pm, I was so tried when I got home. There was no gym, however I had a short nap and was in bed by 9:30.

Thursday workout
Tonight I went to the gym and did my New leaf training. Once again it was an interval training and let me tell you it wasn't fun. My heart rate needed to stay between 139-154 for 2 minutes then go all the way up to 170-176 for one minute. I got the first part ok but the 170-176 I had to run at an 8.0, are you kidding me. I was about ready to puke!!!! Might I mention that my legs are still killing me from yesterday!! I only had to do it for 35 minutes but since it was so much fun it did it for 45 with a 5 minute cool down, then when I looked I was almost to 4 miles so I did another 2 minutes just so that I could put 4 miles on my NEW SHOES!!!! Then I was off to do my 4 arm machines. I did do them, but why is it that no one is even in the area until you want to use a certain machine, then out of no where everyone comes. It drives me NUTS!!
Tomorrow I am going to try and shoot for body pump and the cardio kickboxing class. That is if I don't work overtime.!!

Wednesday was hard
Today my intention was to get up and go to Body Pump this morning then do my New Leaf workout, guess what, my bed loved me way to much and told me to sleep in. Yes, I got up at 10:00. This might sound lazy to some, but sometimes I just need sleep. Anyway of course I had to watch Y&R then off to the gym. I forgot my New Leaf plan or to even look at it before I left so I didn't know what I was suppose to do. SOOOOOOOOOOO I elliptical led for 65 minutes, and it felt GREAT!! this is what I used to do before I started that New Leaf training. Try this for excitement I put the incline all the way to 20 and the resistance on 4, I did not know that my knees could go that high, nor did I know that doing this would make me feel like I was on a ride at Valley Fair. We all know I DON"T DO RIDES!!! I stayed like this for 10 minutes, my calves were killing me, but it felt so good, other than the fact I thought I was going to fall off. Then off to do my weight workout that my trainer gave me, only 4 machines. What do I pick for today, LEGS!! After 65 minutes I think I should do legs, this is what I mean my brain makes no connection at all, why would I do legs, I have arms and abs that need just as much work if not more. Once again the girl tries to justify, reason- So I don't have to go to Body Pump tonight.
This is where I just don't get it. My legs were hurting after the 65 minutes so why would I even think I should attempt weights with them? This is the reason I hate weights, it hurts!! Maybe someday I will figure this out!! It was a great workout and I did what I was suppose to, so mission accomplished for today. Now I think I just might venture out to get those new running shoes I need. Yes Sheryl, it is a need, not a want!! However I want the same ones I have but they are last years model, so not sure if I will be able to find them. I did see them at DSW awhile ago.

Tuesday workout!
What a workout today!! I think I found something I hate doing worse than lifting weights!!! I had to do this interval training for my new leaf today. I have done it before but today I had to go from a heart rate of 139-154 for 2 minutes then up to a heart rate of 170-176 for one minute then back down to 139-154 for 2 minutes then up to 170-176 for one minute. All of this for 40 minutes!!! I thought I was going to DIE!!! It is really hard to get your heart rate from so low to so high in one minute. I had to run at a 7.0 on a 3.0 incline to do it. NOT FUN!!! Now that I am getting to the end of the training, 3 weeks left it is way harder!! Maybe, just maybe I will see results!!! So if hated today, what does that tell you about the last 3 weeks, knowing me, lots of complaining!!!

Back on Monday!!
I'm back. This is sad, I only worked out on Monday and Wednesday last week. On Tuesday I waited for some people to come look at our couch, they never showed up and Thursday I worked until 5:30 so I was home by 5:45 but had no desire to go to the gym, lazy I guess.
Friday was day from hell for me, I'm pretty sure my brain quit working and my stomach said "eat as many carbohydrates as you can today, try it in the form of bread" so I did. Before I tell you what I ate I will tell you that I was at work and I worked from 7am until 11pm!!!! Hold on this is going to blow you away. 4 grilled cheese, 2 bowls of tomato soup, I didn't really eat them I just used them to dip the sandwiches in, 1 pb&j sandwich and 2 pieces of toast with real butter, 1 piece of cake and some stupid apple pastry thing that was crappy but I ate it anyway. That was in the course of 16 hours. When I got home I was STARVING!!!!!!Are you kidding me. I went to bed hungry without eating anything only because I had to get up at 6:05 the next morning. When I got up Saturday morning I was still STARVING!!!! However I held off and did not eat until 9:00. When I did eat I ate a burnt pancake and 2 potato hash brown pattie things. Later I had a cheese sandwich, I was once again at work for 16 hours. At least my eating was under control on Saturday. Not the best but I didn't have time to get stuff together to take with me Friday night.
What did I learn from this, I am ADDICTED TO CARBS!! ESPECIALLY BREAD!!! The sad thing was the more I ate the hungrier I was!!!! It is so STUPID!! Here is the part that pisses me off. I weighed myself today, as it is Monday and guess what? I did not lose anything nor did i GAIN anything!!! WHAT after eating all that how could that be possible!!! (of course I double checked the scale I always do). Figure it out for me. When I workout and watch what I eat I don't lose, when I eat like a starving mad women and don't workout, I don't gain or lose. I could just SCREAM!!! Don't get me wrong I am glad that my stupidity didn't make me gain, but what does that say for all my hard work???
I did go to the gym today and was frustrated the whole time I was there. I did my New leaf workout and my heart rate was not suppose to go above 154, it was like I was hardly moving and felt like I was never going to get done!!!! But I did it. I cheated on it, I was so frustrated I started running so my heart rate was higher than it was suppose to be but it felt good!!! My legs were super sore today. When I am tried that is a warning sign for me, tired legs, so I must not be caught up on my sleep from this weekend yet, but that is not going to stop be from going to the gym. What do I like to say "SUCK IT UP" !! By the way I need new running shoes!!!
