These cookies have become my new breakfast at work, however I did modify the recipe a little. I use one package any flavor weight control oatmeal and mix it with a half a smashed banana and just enough water to mix it. I don't add the baking powder. YUMMY, I eat them at my desk!!!! But I know that they are good for me as there is no flour or added sugar in them!!!

4 oatmeal cookies for 2 POINTS & Core1 container WW Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal OR Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal1/2 tsp. of baking powder (optional)Gradually stir in about 1/4 to 1/3 cup water, until it is the consistency of oatmeal cookie dough.Split the mixture into 4Drop on a baking sheet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray Bake at 350 F until firm, about 15 minutes Add the 1/2 tsp. of baking powder if you wish because, having no flour, this is a very dense and moist cookie, and I do think it lightened it up a bit. What I like best about this is if you need to have breakfast on the go, it's a hand-held oatmeal breakfast.
Those sound really great and nutritious. I love it when you can combine the two. Where have you been getting all of these great recipes?
ReplyDeleteYes - I did hit the gas to get the car up the driveway. The snow wasn't even as much the problem as the ice on our driveway. I just had to make sure to let off the gas as soon as I hit the cement in our garage. That was a disaster waiting to happen!
